We were snacking on the rainbow at our Summer of Fun this year thanks to a grant from Renfrewshire Council.
We hosted two Family Fun Days with creative activities, enjoying arts & crafts, a noughts & crosses board sewing project
and tournament, henna hands, Zumba dancing lesson, limbo contest, drumming session, and fun on a bouncy castle!
The All Nations Welcome Café continued to meet during the school holidays with conversational English lessons
All activities were open to the refugee community, encouraging family attendance and participation.
At our final Welcome Café, when the children had returned to school, parents led our staff and volunteers in a special cookery session making varenyky (Ukrainian dumplings) which was a lovely finale to our summer.
